The Smelly Cheese Club was born out of a desire to spread and share the Smelly Cheese Shop's years of experience and ability to source and showcase cheeses from around the globe. Behind the scenes are a couple of cheese fanatics who come to us via France and Italy, two of the world's greatest cheese producing nations. Valerie was born and bred in Normandie - the home of Camembert! It was a case of two cultures colliding when she arrived in Australia in the early 1990's and this became the motivation to bring together the best of both worlds. Now selecting and importing her favourite products to Australia, as well as judging in Cheese shows around the country the circle is complete. Tania is from an Italian background and a chef by trade. She has worked with a myriad of good names including Cath Kerry and Pip Forrester. Together, they travelled to Europe to discover an endless source of cheese inspiration! Our aim is to share our passion, tempt you with our latest discoveries and please you with some of the best cheese the world has to offer. The membership cost to join the Smelly Cheese Club is $33.00 (inc GST). This allows you full access to the Smelly Cheese club website and entitles members to 10% discount on all purchases from the online shop. Approximately every two months we will send you an invitation to purchase the upcoming cheese selection. The offer will normally consist of four cheeses and a special accompaniment. The choice to order is yours. Orders are sent via overnight courier on a nominated day in special insulated/chilled boxes and you will be advised immediately when your order is dispatched. (Please note that some regional destinations may take an extra day for delivery) Members can also arrange for a cheese selection or a club membership to be sent as a unique gift with which to surprise a family member, friend or business associate. The cost of the selection is inclusive of freight.
